Follow these 3 simple steps:
Add a photo walk help:
Photo Walk Name: The title or name of your photo walk as it appears on your own promotional material
Photo Walk Subtitle: An optional subtitle, possibly the name of tutor leading the photo walk
Add to your profile: You should already have added your profile to the website. If you did not do this, please return to your Fotoura Account page and follow the directions to ‘Add a profile’
Before you can link a location to a listing, you will need to have added the relevant venue to your Fotoura Locations through the separate +ADD A LOCATION form. Please add the location first if you have not done so already. Once you have added it, you will not need to do so again if you list future events being held there.
Select the date(s) and times of your photo walk from the drop-down menus.
This section is where you can highlight any unique features of your photo walk. What distinguishes it from other photo walks?
Add a photo. This is the main photo that will show up at the top of your photo walk listing, and is also the first thing users will see when your walk comes up in a search or is featured on the homepage of the website.
The image will ideally be an 800 x 800 pixel square, minimum 400 pixel x 400 pixels. See our guide to adding photos to Fotoura for further information.
This section will not be relevant to you unless you have created an in-app download to accompany your course. If you are interested in finding out more about this option, see in-app downloads.
BOOKING / SUB
Photo Walk Contact Email: The email address at which you would like to be contacted for enquiries related to your photo walks (optional)
Photo Walk Contact Phone Number: The phone number at which you would like to be contacted for enquiries related to your photo walks (optional)
Photo Walk Website: The website address at which users can find further information about photo walk details and booking. Please be sure to use the full URL for your site, including the ‘http://’ at the beginning.
Photo Walk Cost: The fee to attend your photo walk (if free, write in ‘Free’)
Photo Walk Description:This is your opportunity to really ‘sell’ your photo walk and give the public a detailed description of what the walk will entail.
Who this photo walk is for: Explain what kind of person might want to sign up to this photo walk (this is open to interpretation, but might be used to clarify the ideal participant’s particular area of interest or photographic background/experience).
Class Size: The maximum number of participants permitted on your photo walk
Please tick the boxes that are relevant to your photo walk. These will help users find your photo walk when they search according to various related criteria. If you are unclear on whether a particular category applies to your photo walk or how to distinguish between the different skill levels, please scroll down to the bottom of the page for a list of definitions.
Website Publish Status:
Archive: Choose this option if your event is not active currently, but you want it to appear on the website (e.g. you run a course regularly, but it does not have any scheduled dates currently; or you held an exhibition and wish to leave the details and images up on the site for visitors’ reference)
Live: Choose this option if you are satisfied with the details you have filled in about your event; it will be published to the website once you hit ‘save’.
Private: Choose this option if you wish to return to the event listing at a later point before completing it; it will not be published on the website until you change this setting.
