London Festival of Photography
The London Festival of Photography last took place in 2012, since then the charity that ran the festival has closed. However, Fotoura has continued many of the projects the Festival started and hope that we can hold another festival in the future.
The festival has historically been run for just a few weeks in a given year, but the festival's photography activities carried on all year long. These and similar activities can now be found on Fotoura!
Fotoura is an international photography community of photography-related organisations and people interested in photography who self-publish their photography events and information to the Fotoura website and Fotoura App.
In addition to allowing users to add their own photography-related events and activities, Fotoura also provides a platform for self-promotion and exchange between photographers, in the form of personal profiles, portfolios and portfolio reviews, photography guides, tutorials, and challenges, and interactive monthly themes and competitions.Fotoura Enabled is a next-generation approach, bringing the latest technology to the world of photography. To get in touch with Fotoura, please do so using the in-site form.
Fotoura is a self-publishing photography site that allows anyone involved in photography-related activities to list them in a single place. This means that anyone interested in finding a photographic event or activity that suits their particular interests only has one place to look.
The London Festival of Photography was an annual month-long photography festival in the heart of London, exploring street photography, photojournalism and conceptual documentary projects. Taking place each summer, the festival also ran year-round workshops, events and exhibitions.
Producing interactive public photography events and projects with partners including the National Portrait Gallery, Tate Modern and the British Council, Shoot Experience also runs photographic treasure hunts and bespoke corporate events.
