ABOUT Location Fashion Photography
This one day fashion photography workshop will give you the opportunity to shoot and learn with a professional, working fashion photographer. Our fashion photographer has over 10 years experience in the industry, and knows it inside out. She works full time as a fashion photographer and has a strong reputation in the industry, shooting regularly for well known publications and labels. We are very lucky to have her run this workshop for us. This one day workshop will be in a professional photography studio. There will be a full photo shoot team on the day, including: Model Hair and make up Stylist Designer outfits Experience and participate in the creation of a fashion shoot, from styling and lighting set up to shooting and editing. Learn how to work on a precise brief, get comfortable shooting in a studio environment and directing a model to achieve the results you have in mind. Learn new shooting tricks and find out about the editing steps that will make your images look really top notch.COURSE DATE & LOCATION INFORMATION

WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR
Anyone confident in using their camera, but would like to gain experience working in a studio environment and learn from a professional fashion photographer. Attendees will be assumed to have a good working knowledge of their dSLR cameras, and know how to synchronise it with studio lights. Please contact us beforehand if you have any questions.

COURSE TOPICS
Introduction to the workshop.
-Discusssion and decision on the shoot concept: model’s make-up and hair are done accordingly.
-Introduction to studio lighting and main fashion photography lighting set ups.
-Studio lighting set up.
- Shooting. Everyone has their time to be the main photographer and shoot using the studio lighting and direct the model. The rest of the group can either keep on shooting or assist the main photographer.
-Creative shooting and composition tips.

Introduction to the fashion photography industry:
-How to advertise your work and create contacts.
-Effective use of networking websites.
-How to get in touch with magazines, blog editors, galleries and potential clients.
-Creating a winning portfolio.
-Arranging a shoot
-Finding a creative team to collaborate with.
3.30PM – 5.30PM
Photo review and editing tips
-Photo review of attendants’ selected shots and editing tips.
-Main editing procedures for fashion, beauty and portrait photography (Photoshop CS5).
