Add a Social Event

You have to be a fotoura member to view this form. To view this form you need to be registered as a fotoura member.

Help with adding a social event

This is the area where you can ADD Social Events. To do this you need to enter all the relevant information you’d like the public to see in to the boxes within the ‘ADD A SOCIAL EVENT’ form. We have hopefully made it incredibly user friendly and intuitive, but just incase you need some help, please refer to the below Step-by-Step guide.

  1. Make sure you have arrived back at your Fotoura Account
  2. Click on ‘Add a Social Event’ on the ‘Create new content’ menu bar
  3. Fill in the details on the form

A)   Social Event Name – Type in the Social Event name

B)   Social Event Sub-title – Add sub-title here (optional)

C)   Select an Organiser – You shouldn’t need to do this, as you have added yourself as an Organiser first. If you DID NOT do this first, please return to ‘ADD Organisation and follow instructions

D)   Choose from existing Venues – Choose the Venue you require from the list. You MUST HAVE already added this. If you DID NOT do this, please return to ‘ADD Venue’ and follow instructions

E)   Contact email – Please add here if you would like people to contact you via email

F)    Website address – Please add the website address you would like to refer people to, making sure you use the full address including ‘http://’ at the beginning otherwise people won’t be able to link back to your own website

G)   Phone number – Please add the bookings phone number

H)   Social Event Publish Status* – Add the Publish Status

I)      Social Event Start Date – Choose the start date from the Calendar

J)    Social Event End Date – Choose the end date from the Calendar

K)   Social Event Start Time – Please choose a start time from the drop down menu

L)    Social Event End Time – Please choose an end time from the drop down menu

M)  Social Event Cost – Please add the Social Event Cost (ie. £10.00) If it is free, write FREE

N)   Photo Categories – Please tick the boxes that best describe your Social Event. You can tick as many boxes as you like

O)   Social Event description – This is your chance to really ‘sell’ your Social Event and give the public a detailed description of what the event will entail and what they can expect to gain from taking part

P)   Image – If you have an image that accompanies your event, you can click ‘choose file’ to select the image from your computer. Remember, all images need to be square format, 400px X 400px

  1. Submit – Once you’ve checked all the information you’ve provided, press ‘Save’
  2. Make sure all the information is correct and if you need to make any changes click ‘Edit’

All done.

*Publish Status

Archive – Your Social Event will be stored in an archive

Live – Your Social Event will go ‘live’ on the website and can be seen by everyone

Private – Your Social Event can only be seen by you
